See the short interview we had with him below!
What’s it like having your career progress so much (from an Intern to Transaction Associate, and then to Senior Associate) in the Capital Markets team at Edge?
Pretty surreal, especially with how quickly time has flown by. I started as an intern in 2018, joining Edge’s recently launched investment sales platform, followed by a 2nd internship the following summer, and eventually being brought on full-time in August 2020. After nearly two years in a support focus, I was thrilled with the opportunity to be promoted to an advisory role and begin building my book and growing our platform.
What are you and your team currently working on?
Our team is currently marketing for sale, a 100% leased 23,700 SF NNN neighborhood retail asset in Howard County, Columbia, MD. Click here for more information.
What is your daily routine like in Edge’s D.C. office?
I typically get into the office a little before 9 AM with an iced coffee. Once I get settled in, I begin burning up the phone lines, whether working deals we are actively marketing or working on matching our clients with a 1031 exchange, a specialty our team has attributed a lot of our recent success to. My day always ends with some putting practice on our makeshift green in our office hallway.
Which aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?
Hitting the phones. I’ve found early on that the “cold-calling gene” has always come naturally to me and is one of the most important parts of my job as it sharpens my skill set and will help me progress my career even further.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy playing golf, going to Nat’s games, and traveling in my free time.
