JOB SUMMARY:

A unique opportunity to join a high volume and accomplished Landlord Advisory team that has extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market.

Edge is a commercial real estate firm providing a full complement of advisory, leasing, investment sales, management, construction, property management and engineering services to clients throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Pennsylvania marketplaces.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Landlord Advisory Team Marketing Support:

  • Work with brokerage team and marketing department to update details of printed and digital marketing material (Packages and email campaigns)
  • Help maintain APTO database, Edge’s internal CRM system
  • Field leasing inquiry calls
  • Manage all client documentation (LOIs, listing agreements, commission agreements, lease or sale documentation, etc.)
  • Assist with proposals for new business and renewals
  • Manage email campaign schedule and accuracy
  • Maintain and manage listings on Costar, LoopNet, VTS, etc.
  • Ensure printed marketing material is readily available for brokerage team
  • Assist with tour preparation
  • Work with marketing department to coordinate brokerage functions/events
  • Respond promptly to LoopNet leads
  • Work with marketing department to coordinate signage
  • Prepare surveys, market research, status reports, etc.
  • Assist brokers with duties as needed
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings/appointments

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Marketing preferred
  • Commercial real estate experience (2-3 years preferred)
  • Experience with Co-Star & LoopNet a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task with attention and sense of urgency to meet deadlines

 

Minimum 40 hours a week, some travel required.
After 90-day probationary period – attain broker license, canvassing/cold calling as needed

As an Associate with the Tenant Advisory team, you will be working alongside a group of highly-skilled and talented people, including some of the company’s founders.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and source tenant representation opportunities
  • Work closely with transaction managers and brokers to drive transactions to completion
  • Interface with all levels of client customers and become an extension of client’s commercial real estate team
  • Analyze and advise clients to assist in sound decision making
  • Become proficient with transaction/portfolio management technology solutions
  • Represent the interests of clients. Can include, but is not limited to, locating desired facilities, identifying requirements, conducting tours, evaluating proposals, conducting a financial analysis, preparing lease abstracts and reviewing lease documents
  • Work closely with internal parties (Property Services, Project Management, Facility Management, Marketing, and Finance/Accounting) to understand requirements and advise on strategic issues
  • Provide high level of customer service to clients, vendors, and team
  • Coordinate with Senior Advisors to ensure tracking and reporting of client(s) deliverables
  • Manage a high volume workload while also remaining responsive to clients and team members
  • Manage information within the client’s chosen technology platform

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or on a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, well organized, able to handle a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • Strong financial and/or analytical skills

  • 2-3 years of business (preferably real estate) experience.

This position involves coordination with the Chief Engineer as well as Property Management to ensure that all maintenance resources, including funds, materials, and equipment are being used in the most efficient manner possible in order to meet departmental objectives.. The Lead Building Engineer is to serve as the primary engineer for the properties ensuring that all tenant requests are completed in a timely fashion. Additionally, the Lead Engineer will ensure that outside vendors and other maintenance personnel complete scheduled work in a timely fashion while following all policies, procedures, protocols and controls. The Lead Engineer will also be responsible for periodically overseeing the work of a junior engineer.
