EDGE Hires Commercial Real Estate Veterans to Enhance Marketing Efforts

EDGE Commercial Real Estate, a leading locally-owned integrated commercial real estate advisory, management and investment firm, announces the hiring of two industry veterans to lead the firm’s marketing efforts. Joe Esparza supports all marketing efforts on behalf of the firm’s Virginia office and Zalen Crowder supports the Maryland office.

Esparza joins EDGE following broker and portfolio administrator positions at Institutional Property Advisors (a specialized division of Marcus & Millichap) and Cushman & Wakefield. He has spent the last four years of his career in commercial real estate specializing in asset management, valuation and investment sales. Prior to his real estate industry experience, Esparza held data analysis consulting positions in the health care and information technology sectors. In addition to his job experience, he is a licensed Virginia and Maryland real estate salesperson, a certified LEED Green Associate, and a member of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is also a proud United States Navy veteran.

Crowder brings more than 16 years of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate experience to her role as Marketing Coordinator. Beginning with a property manager position, she has since held property management, leasing and marketing positions with Prologis as well as an assistant general manager position with JLL. Crowder holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a MBA with a concentration in marketing.

“As EDGE continues to grow, it became necessary to bring on an internal marketing team to support the firm and its clients’ more sophisticated property marketing needs. We were thrilled to add two such high caliber professionals to our team,” said Joseph A. Sutton, Managing Partner, EDGE Commercial Real Estate. “They have already contributed to our efforts and will continue to elevate our clients’ experience.”
